A construction method that makes irregular-shape exterior composed of panels. Depends on the shape, design and its detail may vary from the basic type. However, the fundamental rules on system design and fabrication and its construction are focused on aesthetics, cost and time in common.
CNC T-BAR SYSTEM
CNC T-BAR SYSEM
CNC T-BAR is a shape control system that fabricated by cutting web and flange, then welded them together (Figure 6). Bonding between T-BAR is bolted, which manufactured by 3d modeling data, so then manufacturing error can be minimized. In addition, CNC T-BAR can prevent construction delay or construction quality deterioration due to simultaneous order / production of finishing panels and its structure based on 3d modeling data.

All members are manufactured / assembled at the factory and installed in the field. Since it is designed to accommodate construction error, it is a solution that can realize the irregular shape with excellent quality.

This project is applied digital fabrication technology, especially CNC T-BAR SYSTEM, to construct an irregular surface design within a short construction period.

CNC TWISTED TUBE SYSTEM
CNC TWISTED TUBE SYSTEM can bear dependent-structural load from exterior and self-weight load. This system also controls irregular-shaped surface for large-scale curtain wall facade.

This project was applied CNC TWISTED TUBE SYSTEM for the special requirements. The major requirements for facade system were structural load and shape control system in the same time.

CNC NODE-SHELL TENON JOINT SYSTEM
6-way Tenon Joint Structure system can precisely control the irregular shape by restricting the Z coordinates, and it is easy to fabricate and assemble. In addition, it can be installed precisely while reducing construction period to construct irregular shaped steel glass.

RIVER CULTURE PAVILION

By adapting the CNC NODE-SHELL TENON JOINT SYSTEM, the shell structure supporting the ETFE as an external finish can minimize the construction error by controlling coordinates.
